Broadway in Detroit, part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, - is thrilled to announce its 2024-25 Subscription Season with seven shows coming to the Fisher Theatre and Detroit Opera House. 
Kicking off the season in the fall is the Tony Award Winning, MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL at the Detroit Opera House. The remaining six shows will perform at the Fisher Theatre, starting with the spectacular Grammy Award® winning musical, SOME LIKE IT HOT. Following SOME LIKE IT HOT is the multi-Tony Award-winning look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit of Michael Jackson in MJ and then to finish up the year, the inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir; A BEAUTIFUL NOISE THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL arrives for the holidays. To bring in the new year, Broadway In Detroit will present the timely Tony Award winning Best Musical Revival PARADE, following up with KIMBERLY AKIMBO, the most Tony Award-winning best musical of the season. And finally the incredible new revival of THE WIZ coming to the Fisher Theatre June of 2025.

“We are so excited to announce Broadway In Detroit’s 2024-25 Subscription season,” states Jamie Budgett, Broadway In Detroit’s General Manager. “Subscribers will no doubt be dancing in their seats and dazzled by the spectacular productions coming to Detroit. As always, our subscribers will have the opportunity to guarantee themselves seven incredible nights out, experiencing the very best of Broadway and we invite you all to join us for this must-see season as it is certainly not one to be missed!”
Amazing benefits of being a Broadway In Detroit Subscriber include always getting the best seats in the house at the best prices, prior to any show’s public on sale. Subscribers have the same seats for each show, get priority access to buy additional tickets for season shows and extra attractions, and enjoy full exchange privileges at no charge. If a subscriber is unable to attend their purchased date, they have up to 15 other performances they can exchange into. Parking at the Fisher Theatre is included in the subscription price and only subscribers have an opportunity to pre-purchase discounted parking for Broadway in Detroit events at the Detroit Opera House.
Current season subscribers are able to renew for the 2024-25 Subscription Season now. New subscriptions will be available for purchase beginning April 1. Individual tickets and group sales for these productions will go on sale at a future date. Fans and group leaders who would like to be notified when tickets are available are encouraged to join Broadway In Detroit's email list at the bottom of the broadwayindetroit.com home page.
Extra attractions not included with the season subscription will be announced at a later date.

Broadway In Detroit Announces A 2024-25 Subscription Season That’s… SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD!

Broadway In Detroit is excited to announce that beginning Wednesday October 4, all of its events that go on sale to the public will do so through ATG Tickets. This change comes with a full re-launch of <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.broadwayindetroit.com/" target="_blank" data-link-type="web">BroadwayInDetroit.com</a> which will host the ticket sales platform for new events. Broadway In Detroit events currently on sale through Ticketmaster will remain available through the Ticketmaster platform through the run of each engagement. Tickets that go on sale to any future event will be sold through ATG Tickets.
“We are very excited to launch the new look of our Broadway In Detroit website and ATG ticketing system”, says Broadway In Detroit General Manager, Jamie Bugett. “Fans can purchase their tickets directly through the flow of our website and see all the different packages we have to offer and enhance their experience.”

Broadway In Detroit Launches New Website & Ticketing System

Leanne Morgan has taken the world by storm and her national headlining tour is, “Just Getting Started!”   Following the breakout ratings success of her critically acclaimed Netflix special, I’m Every Woman, Morgan has sold out over 100 theater and arena shows across the United States – with often second, third, fourth and fifth shows added in major markets.  In an effort for more of her fans to have the chance to experience her hit show, Morgan is extending her theatre and arena tour into 2024 by adding 27 shows in new markets across the United States including a stop at the Fisher Theatre on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available online at BroadwayInDetroit.com and in person at the Fisher Theatre box office starting at noon.
 “At the pace these new shows are being added, I’m going to run out of spray tanner by January!” exclaims Morgan.   “I named my second tour “Just Getting Started” because I’m a 58-year-old mother and grandmother that’s having the time of my life!  This is a dream come true! I truly feel like I am in the prime of my life. I’ve had the honor to perform this new hour to 100 shows across this great country performing in front of both new and returning fans who feel like my best friends. Much of the fanfare can be attributed to an act that resonates with men and women of all ages from all walks of life around world.  A respite for those exhausted by an entertainment landscape that often celebrates youth over substance, Morgan is a shining example that life is meaningful and vibrant at any age and with age comes wisdom and a wicked sense of humor.
Leanne Morgan, a veteran of the comedy community, is having a huge moment with the release of her first Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I’m Every Woman, which premiered April 11, 2023, to amazing reviews and viewership.  Her special was in the Top 10 on Netflix and is one of the highest watched specials on the platform in 2023.  She is currently on her sold out theater and arena stand up tour called, Just Getting Started, and will next be seen on screen in the Amazon Prime feature, You’re Cordially Invited, starring alongside Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon, and directed/written by Nick Stoller.  Her first book, What in the World?, is set to be published by Random House/Convergent in September 2024. Broadway In Detroit announces Million Dollar Quartet Christmas will play four performances at the Fisher Theatre Saturday, December 2 &amp; Sunday, December 3. Detroit’s most popular musical WICKED, will return to the Detroit Opera House January 24 – February 18, 2024. In advance of the start of performances, the production announced today that it will offer a Lucky Seats digital lottery, giving fans the chance to purchase a limited number of $31 tickets (including Lucky Seat fees) available per performance. To submit an entry for lottery tickets to WICKED, visit <a href="https://www.luckyseat.com/">www.luckyseat.com</a> beginning Friday, January 12.
