All guests are welcome enjoy Broadway In Detroit shows! We have several services to ensure guests with disabilities have an enjoyable experience. We make it a priority to welcome and accommodate all guests.

Accessible Seating Info:

Accessible seating information is available by calling (313) 887-1256. Accessible parking is available in the parking structures and surface lots adjacent to the theatre. The entrances to both the Fisher Building and Fisher Theatre are barrier free. An accessible bathroom is available in the right side of the Fisher Theatre lobby. 

Interpreted Show:

For those looking for an interpreted performance of a show, if one is not already scheduled, we will be happy to accommodate your request as long as it is received at least 40 days prior to the show opening.

Sensory Bag: 

Broadway In Detroit offers special sensory bags at all Fisher Theatre performances. The bags include fidget toys, stress balls, a sensory brush, communication board, sunglasses, and headphones. The bags are available at the information podium at the end of the bar on the left side of the lobby. 

Hearing Impaired Accommodations: 

For our hearing impaired patrons, Broadway in Detroit provides a FM system and headset at all Fisher Theatre performances. Please ask our ushers at the door to direct you to where you can pick one up.

Pre-Visit Social Story:

A pre-visit social story is designed to help prepare our guests with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning or cognitive disabilities for a visit to the Fisher Theatre. Please check out our social story HERE.
