Know Before You Go
Broadway In Detroit is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for audiences, performers and staff, and to make sure you have as much information as possible for your visit.
All ticket purchasers will receive a Broadway In Detroit Know Before You Go email in the days prior to their performance. This guide will also be posted at the bottom of this page approximately 1-week prior to the first performance of each show. It will have the latest information on the show such as the running time, number of intermissions, show time and more. You can jump to each section by clicking the links below.
Security protocols may vary slightly for each venue and show.
All patrons will be scanned with metal detector wands upon arrival at the Fisher Theatre Doors and all bags will be searched. We strongly recommend you bring only what you need for the few hours you will be in our venue.
Weapons of any kind are prohibited in the Fisher Theatre, this includes off-duty law enforcement and military persons.
Broadway In Detroit reserves the right to remove disruptive patrons WITHOUT refund. Everyone is at our venues to experience a wonderful performance, please do nothing to take that away from anyone.
All Broadway In Detroit venues allow guests to bring a small purse or personal bag with them to the performance. We defer to our security and front-of-house staff to determine what is a reasonable size for the performance you are attending. Some family / kids shows permit small children to attend. For those performances, diaper bags are acceptable.
ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED PRIOR TO ENTRANCE.
If your purse or bag will not fit easily in your lap or next to you on the floor between you and another patron, it is too large to bring to the theatre. Backpacks, suit cases, and other large containers are prohibited.
When you arrive at our venues, please have your tickets ready to be verified and scanned by our door hosts. For Mobile Tickets, we recommend reviewing our Mobile Ticketing Guide HERE prior to your arrival. For Ticketmaster Tickets, please DO NOT "Screenshot" your tickets. Ticketmaster uses a rotating barcode and your barcode may change by the time you reach our scanning stations. Prior to having your tickets scanned, please ensure that your phone is NOT on "Dark Mode."
FISHER THEATRE WIFI
We offer complimentary Wifi for our guests. Simply look for the network: FisherWifi upon arrival. You will need to connect to our wifi with a name and email address.
